Porcelana pintada no estilo Kakiemon-----Porcelain painted in Kakiemon style

Hoje vou mostrar-vos algumas peças de porcelana que pintei no estilo Kakiemon.
Neste estilo as cores são aplicadas sobre branco leitoso, evitando decoração excessiva para realçar o branco da porcelana

Today I will show you some pieces of porcelain that I painted in the Kakiemon style
In this style the colors are applied over milky white, avoiding excessive decoration to enhance the porcelain white

Foi no sec XVII que em Arita, no Japão  começou  esta tecnica de pintura chamada KAKIEMON. A porcelana Kakiemon foi levada para vários portos da Europa nos barcos da Companhia Holandesa das Índias Orientais.
It was in the seventeenth century that in Arita, Japan began this painting technique called KAKIEMON. The Kakiemon porcelain was taken to several European ports on the boats of the Dutch East India Company.

Travessas com motivos florais-------Floral motif plates

 Pintei para oferecer a amigas que gostam muito de flores

I painted to offer friends who like flowers very much

Prato duplo para queques --------- Double plate for cupcakes

Pintei estes pratos que com a armação se tranforma num prato duplo para queques

I painted these dishes that with the frame turn into a double plate for cupcakes

Taças grandes------Large blows

 Pintei duas taças grandes de porcelana para a casa nova de uma amiga

I painted two large porcelain bowls for a friend's new house

Como pintei uma taça "milflores"-------How I painted a cup "a thousand flowers"

Escolhi a peça   I chose the piece

Escolhi o desenho e adaptei-o ao tamanho da peça passando em seguida para papel vegetal      

I chose the drawing and adapted it to the size of the piece then moved to parchment paper

Com papel folha de grafite e um bolígrafo, passei o desenho para a taça e em seguida  canetei (usando de uma caneta de aparo muito fino) com a tinta preta, todas as linhas principais  do desenho   
With paper graphite and a pen, I passed the drawing to the cup and then I scratch (using a very fine pen) with the black ink, all the main lines of the drawing                          

       

Levei a taça ao forno (mufla) para "queimar" a  alta temperatura para fixar a tinta

I took the cup to the oven (mufla) to "burn" at high temperature to fix the ink

Com a peça já arrefecida, comecei a pintar as flores com diferentes cores e por fim o fundo (e fiz mais duas "queimas")

With the piece already cooled, I began to paint the flowers with different colors and finally the bottom (and made two more "burnings")

Estilo Imari----Imari style

Como gosto muito do estilo Imari, pintei mais estes dois conjuntos de taças e travessas de porcelana

As I really like the Imari style,  I've painted these two sets of porcelain bowls and platters

Tudo já foi entregue...

Candeeiro de porcelana com abat-jour de seda -- Porcelain lamp with silk abat-jour

Com intenção de pintar um candeeiro, comprei uma base de porcelana branca e pintei-a com decoração estilo Imari, com ramos de flores em tom de vermelho ferro e dourado.   
With the intention of painting a lamp, I bought a white porcelain base and painted it with Imari-style decoration, with bouquets of flowers in iron red and gold.                

              

A produção das primeiras porcelanas japonesas teve origem na localidade de Arita, nos século XVII e XVIII. Estas peças tiveram grande aceitação nos mercados europeus que chamavam de "Imariyaki"  por serem exportadas pelo porto de Imari. As cores típicas da decoração Imari  são o vermelho ferro, dourado e azul, embora por vezes se juntassem outras cores 
The production of the first Japanese porcelains originated in the locality of Arita, in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. These pieces had great acceptance in the European markets that called "Imariyaki" to be exported by the port of Imari. The typical colors of the Imari decoration are red iron, gold and blue, although sometimes other colors

                             

Como também tenho alguma prática de pintura em seda, comprei seda natural e pintei-a no mesmo estilo Imari. Com essa seda mandei fazer o abat-jour.

As I also have some practice of painting in silk, I bought natural silk and painted it in the same style Imari. With that silk I had the abat-jour done.

A base não estava preparada para ser electrificada, pelo que tive de o mandar fazer.  E o resultado final foi este. Gostei do trabalho e ofereci o candeeiro ao meu Marido.

The base was not ready to be electrified, so I had to do it.  And the end result was this. I enjoyed the work and offered the lamp to my Husband                      

E depois também pintei uma taça em estilo Imari para fazer conjunto com o candeeiro.

And then I also painted a cup in Imari style to make it with the lamp
